U-Pick Events

We are excited to welcome you out to Howlin Hollar farm to experience the outdoors and walk amongst the beautiful rows of blooms that we have to offer. Spend a couple of hours strolling through the fields with loved ones picking your unique bouquet that only you can imagine.

Dates for the u-pick events will be updated as the farm changes throughout the growing season.

We are a small farm so parking is limited. Please purchase your tickets for all of your loved ones at the same time so you don’t miss out on that time together.

Please arrive to the farm at your starting time for flower cutting and bouquet making demonstration.

All tickets are non-refundable unless we cancel the event.

All U-Pick Events will be by ticket only. Please join our Friends of the Farm VIP list or follow us on Facebook/Instagram for all U-Pick dates and availability. Anyone picking will need a ticket. Limited tickets sold at each U-Pick

$30 Cup

Our 22oz compostable cup is the perfect size to fill most vases when you get home. It also make transporting your flowers home easy as it sits nicely in most car cup holders.

Pricing

$35 Pitcher

Our vintage pitcher is perfect if you are wanting a very large bouquet or plan on filling a couple of vases when you get home. It is perfect to walk through the flower fields with and make for beautiful pictures on the farm. Make sure that you bring a vessel to take all of your flowers home in as the pitcher is not included.

$50 Bucket for 2

Our bucket for 2 is perfect for Mother/daughter, Date nights with your spouse or bringing your bestie out to the farm. you will be able to fill multiple vases/arrangements when you get home. Make sure that you both bring a vessel to take all of your flowers home in as the Bucket is not included.

$15 Child Cup

The perfect small cup for small hands to get involved. This is for children 12 and under.

What to Bring

  1. A clean container to transport your flowers home in. All flower vessels should be clean enough for you to drink out of in order to prolong the life of your beautiful blooms.

  2. Scissors or garden clippers if you have a favorite pair that you want to use. We do have scissors on site that you can use.

  3. Water! it is hot and we have limited shade on the farm. Bring those water bottles

  4. Comfy clothes and shoes. We are a working farm. The ground is uneven, dirt, wood chips and farm equipment. We want you to be as comfortable as possible.

  5. bug spray - we encourage the beneficial bugs on the farm so we ask that you spray in the parking lot and then leave all of the little critter be….speaking of bee’s there are plenty so if you have allergies please be prepared. We work in the farm daily and have never been stung.

  6. Sun tan lotion - There is limited shade and the beautiful blooms that you are here to experience require that sun!

  7. Please be respectful of our property as this is our home. We ask that there are no pets on the farm as we have plenty of natural habitat.

  8. Keep all children with you at all times.

What to do

  1. Park in the lot when you get into our drive. We are limited on space so please be coutious.

  2. Walk down the pathway to the back/south of the property to our flower fields. Make sure that you bring your container that you are going to transport your flowers home in.

  3. Meet us at the field for any instructions and demonstrations.

  4. Tour the property and start picking out your flowers. We will be available to show you how to cut the flowers and strip them. Please strip your flowers in the field.

  5. Enjoy your time with the blooms, nature and your friends/loved ones. Don’t forget to take plenty of pictures. We love to see the smiles and beautiful, unique bouquets that you put together so please share on social media. @howlinhollarfarm

  6. When you are done, check out with us and we can assist transferring your flowers to you vessels to take home.

  7. Water, clean, cut and feed for the next 7-10 days so that you enjoy your bouquet to its fullest.
